A small but growing Manufacturer in Central Phoenix, is looking for an experienced Full Charge Bookkeeper. Must have a min. 5-7 years experience in an Office environment and have 5-7 years Accounting experience preferably in manufacturing.
Computer literate and proficient with Word, Excel and Outlook. Prefer experience with MAS90 accounting software.
Positive attitude, able to work independently as well as being a team player, and exhibit common sense.
Self Starter and Multi task.
Good written and excellent communication skills.
Demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness and monitors own work to ensure quality.
Problem solving and organizational necessary.
Good Attendance
Strong math skills required to calculate figures and amounts such as time cards, discounts, interest,and percentages.
Analyzes and organizes office operations and procedures such as bookkeeping, flow of paperwork, filing,requisition of office supplies and other clerical duties. Light reception duties such as answering phones and greeting customers. Responsible for office equipment and software maintenance.
JOB FUNCTION & SKILLS
Accounts Payables: Match Purchase orders to packing slips to invoices, receipt of goods and receipt of invoices, monitor cash flow.
Accounts Receivables: Posting invoices, payments,receipts and adjustments(credit and debit memos) accurately.
Inventory Maintenance: Making any adjustments to inventory and closing End of Year Inventory with physical count adjustments. Must work with Shop Foreman to maintain accuracy of inventory.
Bill of Material/Production Runs: Maintaining, entering and finalizing production runs.
Freight/Shipping: Filling out bill of lading and scheduling of freight pick ups.
Bank Reconciliation: Balances accounts
Sales Tax
General Ledger: Balances all accounts
End of Month Closings
