About the Opportunity

Join our team as a Full Charge Bookkeeper and Payroll Administrator. Make payments and control expenses; reconcile processed work; charge expenses to accounts and cost centers; pay vendors and employees; maintain accounting ledgers and records; verify vendor accounts; disburse petty cash; report sales taxes; process payroll & State and Federal payroll taxes; file quarterly payroll tax returns, W-2's & 1099's. 

Qualifications

  • Assist accounting team members in performing controllership and bookkeeping services for clients.

  • Perform a variety of accounting tasks utilizing client records.

  • Reconcile bank accounts and research discrepancies.

  • Prepare payroll and payroll tax returns, sales and other local tax returns.

  • Experienced in working with mutiple entities and/or clients.

  • 2+ years experience is required. Associate Degree is a plus.

  • Must be profient in Word, Excel, QuickBooks and/or other related accounting and tax software.

  • Exhibits meticulous attention to detail. Is committed to producing accurate and high-quality work.

  • Must be flexible and have the ability to "think out of the box".
