Christmas Tree Shops, a year-round division of Bed Bath and Beyond is opening a new store in Mays Landing, NJ in early 2010.  Specifically we are seeking an Hourly, Full Time, Backroom Shift Supervisor in our new store coming to Florence, KY.  The person filling the position will be required to train in an existing Christmas Tree Shops store a period of a few weeks.  The company will reimburse mileage, meals, and tolls for travel incurred during training above and beyond the normal commute to Mays Landing. 

Backroom Supervisor responsibilities include:

·         Directly responsible for the efficient and effective receiving, organization, and storage of all merchandise, equipment, and supplies at store level; inspects Backroom equipment and arranges maintenance.

·         Assigns Receivers to perform receiving, unloading, sorting, and organization tasks in the backroom; monitors and follows up as needed to ensure required execution.

·         Manages Customer Pickup process; ensures friendly, efficient customer service for all Customer Pickup transactions.

·         Oversees security of all company assets in Backroom; control the Backroom exit.

·         Anticipates and prioritizes Backroom organization needs; upholds Backroom organization standards.

·         Assists in the development of weekly Receiver schedules; oversees all Receiver and Rocker training; provides coaching as needed.

·         Monitors and supports merchandise preprocessing; provides direction to Stockers as needed.

·         Supporting housekeeping standards throughout the facility, cleaning fixtures, removing debris and trash from the sales floor and backroom, cleaning spills on sales floor and backroom.

·         Assembling furniture for sales floor presentation

·         Organizing and straightening merchandise on the sales floor, replenishing shelf stock from overhead valences and display shelves.

·         Performing additional duties as required including, but not limited to, bagging, cashiering, cart retrieval, stocking, break room and restroom housekeeping.
