Christmas Tree Shops is opening a new store in Bridgewater, NJ in early 2010. Specifically we are seeking an Hourly, Full Time, Customer Service Supervisor in our new store. The person filling the position will be required to train in an existing Christmas Tree Shops store a period of a few weeks. The company will reimburse mileage, meals, and tolls for travel incurred during training above and beyond the normal commute to Bridgewater.
Customer Service Supervisor responsibilities include:
· Monitoring customer transactions, ensuring efficient processing time for checkout, responding to cashier requests, performing voids and pricing adjustments.
· Processing customer transactions through the register including tax exempt, associate discount, returns and exchanges; collecting and processing accepted forms of payment from customers and entering into register system; wrapping, bagging and adhering paid stickers to purchases.
· Answering incoming phone calls to the service desk, responding to and redirecting inquires; ensuring follow through on redirected phone calls; using the public address system and other approved communication methods to request and/or provides assistance.
· Directing and coordinating lane assignments and front-end associate break and meal periods.
· Conducting register audits, verifying cash pickups and check/credit transactions.
· Coordinating and performing front-end housekeeping duties, replenishing supplies, sweeping, organizing and straightening of merchandise, replenishing shelf stock, returning misplaced product to the correct location in the store.
· Counting and balancing store safe and register tills.
· Researching register and safe variances and credit card transaction.
· Preparing daily deposit and reports.
· Placing coin and currency orders.
· Performing additional duties as required including, but not limited to, bagging, cashiering, cart retrieval, stocking, break room and restroom housekeeping.
