Our Distribution Function Managers are responsible for the daily operations of their area including maintaining the budget, assuring efficient product flow, and monitoring daily performance of team members and managing quality improvement.
The ideal candidate for this position will possess:
· 2+ years supervisory or leadership experience with multiple department/area responsibility.
· Hands on experience in distribution, warehousing or logistics experience.
· Experience with automated systems (RF technology, WMS, conveyor and sortation systems) is preferred.
· Bachelor's degree OR equivalent combination of education and work experience in
the logistics industry.
· Demonstrated ability to train and coach team members.
· Creativity along with strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
· Excellent communication skills; both written and oral.
· Decision-making, problem-solving and analytical skills with strong
statistical aptitude.
· Previous experience with industry Process Improvement Techniques
· Solid experience using a PC.
