Fund Accountant
Manpower Professional has an excellent project-based opportunity for an experience Hedge Fund Accountant.
Responsibilities:
· Assist in implementation of FAS 167
· Establish monthly processes for consolidating Collateralized Debt Obligations and Hedge Funds
· Analyze available investment information to prepare financial statements
· Develop process to consolidate financial statements;
· Prepare documentation on accounting and consolidation processes
· Develop process controls
Qualifications:
· Professional accountant with at least 5 years of related fund accounting experience
· Bachelors Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
· Experience in consolidation accounting
· Strong analytical skills and organizational skills
· Proficient in Excel
· Experience in building SOX controls
