Job Description: Traffic Coordinator
BUSINESS FUNCTION: Performs duties related to the transportation of orders and inventory.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:
· Promote SCOPE and TTB at all times
· Understanding of freight markets; TL-LTL-PARCEL-CL-LCL
· Experience w/big box routing guides, inclusive of all customer compliance requirements
· Ability to coordinate requirements w/Operations Team (packaging/labeling/transport)
· Varsity Shipper system experience
· Ability to learn numerous shipping software systems
· All packages are shipped with the highest quality and most effective cost.
· All truck orders routed within 48 hours or sooner of being packed.
· Keep system information accurate by entering freight cost and advancing statuses.
· Match and prepare appropriate paperwork and related files and complete as required.
· Prepare all International customs declarations for inbound and outbound freight.
· Examine claims for loss and damage.
· Appraise shipper quality, timeliness, and cost effectiveness.
· Act as the company representative for state and federal agencies.
· Schedule drivers and or carrier for the delivery of product to customers.
· Review, examine, and approve freight charges and other freight documentation.
· Track container status and communicate status to key stakeholders.
· Schedule inbound deliveries.
· Obtain quotations for both inbound and outbound shipments.
· Provide back-up to other Lang employees.
· Support multi shift operations

· Education and/or Experience:
Three to five years related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience
· Language Skills:
Ability to read, write, interpret documentation
Good written and oral communication skills
