Overview of Role
The IAS Middle Office Head is responsible for IAS Operations in Columbus. It is a strategic role where the individual will work closely with all the partners in Product, IT and Operations to ensure implementation of an effective operating model and best solutions for our global and NA clients. The individual will be responsible for providing and implementing a strategic approach to supporting our clients, using innovation and creativity to deliver solutions. This role has senior visibility both with our clients and the SFS NA Senior Management. This role leads and manages a team of IAS Middle Office professionals that has final responsibility for implementing the Bank's products to our clients with respect to the IAS product suite. The Department Head establishes the strategy for his/her area and actively seeks new and improved ways to reduce cycle times, implement products efficiently and increase client satisfaction, including the development of new services. The role involves direct client facing contact. .
The Director/Senior Vice President is responsible for overseeing the day to day operations for IAS functions in Columbus; ensuring that departmental controls are being followed; overseeing staff development and client relationships.
Key Responsibilities
Provide thought leadership for further evolution of the implementation strategy for the NA cash business covering all customer and product groups. Understand client requirements. Streamline processes and create efficiencies while becoming more effective in how we do implementations. Build partnerships with Product, IT, Client Service, and other operations to achieve consensus and support for the strategy.
