Basic Qualifications:

 

• MBA or equivalent experience in financial, business management, project management, contract management
• Experience working with various levels of management
• Excellent computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft applications (particularly PowerPoint, Excel, Project and Word) and Lotus Notes

• Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline
• Work experience in a technical discipline related to biopharmaceutical process development

Job Details:

 

• The purpose of this job is to take care of the non-scientific business operations of BioPharmaceutical Development (BPD) to allow the rest of the department to focus as much as possible on science and project progression.
• Works with BPD Management to develop, maintain and execute strategic plan for BPD organization
• Accountable for the EPE, IPE and Capital budget management process.
• Responsible for all BPD contracts (e.g.Confidential Disclosure Agreements (CDAs), Master Service Agreements (MSAs) and associated Statement of Works (SOWs), Material Transfer Agreements (MTAs) and Speaker/Consulting Agreements) in collaboration with Legal, WW Business Development and/or Procurement
• As directed by BPD management, leads negotiations and activities associated with outsourcing and contractor management for BPD projects, including but not limited to; make versus buy decisions, contractor selection and diligence, contract negotiation, and post-deal relationship management
• Provides advice and guidance for all Project & resource planning activities for BPD project portfolio. Owns Effort Tracking resource analyses, including input as well as reporting.
• Prepares Capital Investment Proposals
• Prepares cost estimates for work done in BPD to enable comparisons with competitors and contract manufacturers in global context
• Supports BPD Management with specific BPD projects and initiatives
