Parker and Lynch has teamed up with a fast-growing mid-stream company in Dallas in their search for a Gas Plant Accountant. This individual will be responsible for NGL Plant Accounting and conduct appropriate accounting transactions to midstream accounting (account reconciliation and journal entries).
Required Skills
- 2-5 years in gas gathering systems and gas plant accounting systems with a Midstream company
- Facility with gas plant allocations worksheets
- Knowledge of TIPs gas plant accounting software
- Experience with Oracle or comparable ERP software
- Typical proficiencies with Microsoft Office suite of software
- Exposure to volumetric modeling for gas gathering systems and gas plants
- Standard superior supervisory, communications and management skills for mid-level manager
- Experience with plant imbalances and settlements
- Experience with reconciling customer receivable accounts
- Exposure to contract administration, invoicing, cash application, processing producer payments, revenue accounting and severance tax filings
- Experience working with pricing indices
- Experience with gross margin variance analysis
- Experience working closely with internal and external auditors and supervising preparation of PBCs.
- Desire to work in a fast paced environment with the ability to grow with the company
Required Experience
Must have an Accounting degree and Microsoft Excel experience.
CPA or CPA candidate is a plus
