General Accountant
About the Job
(AAC) American Achievement Corporation is in search for a General Accountant. The is a salaried full time opportunity. This position is responsible for maintaining fixed assets and depreciation records in JD Edwards, preparing monthly capital expenditure reports, preparing monthly JE's, preparing balance sheet account reconciliations, preparing bank recs, preparing financial reports, various analysis, and other projects/task as requested by management.
Job Requirements
• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance required, and CPA preferred
• 3-5 years experience in General Ledger and Fixed Assets
• JDEdwards experience preferred
• Advanced Excel Skills required and must be proficient in Word and Outlook
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Organized, detail oriented, flexible and able to handle multiple assignments with minimum supervision
• Team Player
• Manage to Deadlines
