OPPORTUNITY DESCRIPTION - WAREHOUSE GENERAL MANAGER
Lead and direct the efficient operation of warehouse distribution facilities including; Logistics, Human Resources, Inventory Control, Facility/Equipment maintenance, Quality Assurance, Sanitation, Safety, and Security. Maintain compliance with all Federal, State, and local regulatory standards.
MAJOR TASKS, RESPONSIBILITIES AND KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES AS THEY PERTAIN TO THE C&S VISION Braggingly Happy Customers Quality interaction with Customer related witness audit performed on selection side, witnessed by customer. Quality In Everything We Do -Prepare annual budget forecast, analyze and adjust quarterly budget based on business requirements. -Reduce or eliminate shrink managing inventory to highest specifics manage inventory control processes minimize exposure. -Maintain compliance to all federal, state and local regulations and guidelines including but not limited to; OSHA, COOL, GMP, HAZMAT, HAAPP and the bio-terrorism Act of 2002. -Direct subordinate Management team in the efficient and safe operation of Warehouse activities.
Braggingly Happy Team Members Cultivate exceptional leadership skills of all Warehouse Management staff through collaboration with Corporate Training and Development team in the design of employee performance development plans. Partner with Human Resources Management to design and implement succession planning and leadership development strategy, ensure proper staffing levels are maintained to meet business demands, provide guidance and consultation to managers and supervisors pertaining to employee relations issues, interpretation of Company policies and procedures, and compliance to applicable employment laws. Assist and support peer General Managers as required. Direct labor relations activities, address Union organization activities and establish and maintain positive relationships with Union Representatives.
Everyone Involved In Everything Develop, lead, and implement strategic and tactical objectives in direct alignment with corporate goals and annual operating plan for profitability, and quality customer service initiatives. Oversight of Safety Committee initiatives. Participate in planning and execution of disaster recovery efforts. Support Merger and Acquisition efforts.

NATURE AND SCOPE This position reports directly to the Regional Vice President of Operations. Accountable for the management of a department or functional group through subordinate supervisors/managers and for all personnel issues -- including selection, termination, performance appraisal and professional development of subordinates.
EDUCATION REQUIRED Bachelors Degree concentrating in Operations Management, Business or Supply Chain strongly preferred.
YEARS OF RELEVANT WORK EXPERIENCE Minimum of 8-10 years progressively responsible experience in a related operations management function.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel software applications Previous change management experience (driving, influencing and inspiring change through communication at all impacted levels).
ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS Ability to work a flexible schedule Ability to be on-call at various times Must be able to work weekends and holidays
