Hospice General Manager
We are a multi-state provider of hospice services seeking an experienced General Manager to assist in leading our Henderson, NV operation.
The General Manager is responsible for the overall operations of the branch, including patient care, volunteer programs, performance improvement, compliance, quality assurance, and community awareness.
Job Responsibilities:
Serves as the Administrator for the day-to-day operations of its services.
Direct supervision and training of qualified staff.
Monitors the standards of care and service that comply with state and federal guidelines and regulations.
Ensures staff competencies and ensures currency and accuracy of information, data, and practices.
Evaluates the goals and objectives of hospice services to ensure they promote the standards of quality and patient care established by the organization.
Position Requirements:
Education:
Experience:
5+ years of previous healthcare supervisory experience.
Previous long term care, home health and/or hospice operations experience, hospice experience preferred.
Understanding of hospice philosophy and regulations.
Working knowledge of Medicare regulations
Comprehensive computer skills
Excellent and effective communication skills (written and verbal)
Ability to manage time efficiently
Superior organization strategies
