A recycling and organics company founded in 1990 has an immediate opening for a General Manager in the Coachella Valley, Ca operations. The selected Candidate will direct production operations and distribution for this recycling plant.

Coordinates production and distribution in accordance with policies, principles, and procedures established by Organization Manager.

Confers with customers and representatives of associated industries to evaluate and promote improved and expanded services in area.

Develops plans for efficient use of materials, machines, and employees.

Reviews production costs and product quality, and modifies production and inventory control programs to maintain and enhance profitable operation of division.

Reviews operations of competing organizations and plans and directs sales program to develop new markets.

Recommends budgets to management

Will have management responsibilities for four subordinate supervisors who supervise a total of 18 employees.

Will have responsibility for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of the Grinding Operations, Screening Operation, Plant Maintenance and Equipment Maintenance.

Requirements:

·         Bachelors degree in related field a plus

·         Bi-Lingual (Spanish)

·         5-7 years of related experience

·         Strong understanding of business and profitability

·         Strong interpersonal skills

·         Strong communication skills, both verbal and written

·         Good project management and problem solving skills

·         Strong computer and mathematical skills

·         Valid California drivers license
