Shopping Center Manager

Charleston, SC

The General Manager is the team leader who has the overall management responsibility for the outlet center.

• Implement the marketing plan designed to attract shoppers to the center.
• Execute operational programs aimed at maintaining the physical integrity of the center.
• Help to create an environment that enhances customer satisfaction and tenant sales.
• Increase shareholder value through expense control and maximize income generated by the center.
• Prepare annual center budgets, forecasts and various reports requested by corporate office.
• Hire and manage center personnel and supervise independent contractors.
• Negotiate contracts, issue purchase orders and approve disbursements.
• Oversee vending and other income.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 3-5 years of management, property management, sales, marketing retail or accounting experience.
• Ability to work with and communicate effectively with tenants, contracted services personnel and fellow employees.
• Computer skills in Excel, Word and Power Point.
