The Geospatial Analyst provides support of the Iraq-Arabian Peninsula Division (PSI). The Geospatial Analyst provides database expertise to create, update and manage Geospatial Information System (GIS) databases coordinated with PS geospatial intelligence analysts, the GIAT, Innovision, and NGAs GeoScout and will integrate NGAs Geospatial Enterprise Architecture onto the PSIP baseline. To accomplish the services required, the Geospatial Analyst will need to possess strong knowledge of project development and management, GIS, geospatial production techniques, NGA digital data formats, and experience with digital cartography, image processing, and computer technology. PSI uses the following GIS commercial software packages: ArcINFO, ArcView, ERDAS Imagine, SocetSet and ArcIMS. The Geospatial Analyst should be quite experienced in using these software programs. The work will be performed in the Washington DC Metropolitan Area.
