The time is right to join HNTB Corporation. We are seeking candidates for the position of Geotechnical Project Engineer/Squad Leader in our Baton Rouge office.
Responsibilities:
- Provides coordination of project execution and control, in a given discipline area, to achieve continuity of purpose within scope, budget, and time schedules from initial start-up through final design.
- Also accountable for handling specific design aspects on projects appropriate to his/her discipline field.
- Coordinate efforts of assigned design team to ensure completeness and accuracy of design effort.
- Serve as technical liaison with client on project efforts.
- Cost control on projects and quality control within discipline.
- Planning, design and construction phases of projects.
- Completeness and accuracy of design team work.
- Technical liaison with client for work within the discipline.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, preferably Masters Degree in Geotechnical Engineering
- Minimum of 6 years experience
- Professional Engineer (PE) License
- Slope stability and piers experience
- Preferable Levee, DAM or USACE experience
- Must be a US Citizen
