Position Summary

Under general direction of the designated Manager, the Business Analyst (BA) is responsible for developing business and functional requirements for Lash Group's internal and external technology projects. In addition, the BA will work with IT and Operations leadership to help execute Lash’s product management strategies and plans.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

1. Interviews business areas for the purpose of defining and creating business requirements that answer a client’s “what” needs, that are written in clear, unambiguous language, and that result in testable, measurable, and traceable outcomes.
2. Accountabile for BA deliverables, budgets, and schedules on projects
3. Work with the development and testing teams to validate project requirements
4. Proactively communicate project status, issues and concerns to project managers.
5. Utilizes, refines, and enforces standardized BA processes and tools on every internal and external project
6. Evaluates business and functional requirements that require customizations or enhancements to existing Lash products and systems.
7. Participates in project estimations
8. Supports product management initiatives, including identifying and analyzing preliminary business needs, budget considerations, and time and resource estimates
9. Identifies and assists in the development of training requirements for new BA hires, as well as ongoing BA product certifications
10. Provides the necessary supporting documentation for the IT and Operations areas to evaluate, prioritize and determine the cost effectiveness of information technology initiatives.
11. Communicates with executives throughout Lash Group.
12. Performs related duties as assigned.

Experience and Education Requirements

Requires some training in fields such as business administration, accountancy, sales, marketing, computer sciences or similar vocations generally obtained through completion of a four year Bachelor's Degree program, technical vocational training, or equivalent combination of experience and education. Normally requires a minimum of four (4) years directly related and progressively responsible experience.
