The Agricultural Division

The Role


We have an immediate opening for a Territory Manager to serve our customers across North and South Dakota, ideally based in Fargo or Sioux FallsIn this role you’ll be responsible for developing new business.  This territory offers tremendous individual growth potential for the candidate who possesses strong skills in forging new relationships. 


 


The Requirements


Our ideal candidate will look like this:




  • A highly motivated and energetic sales professional with at least 3 years experience in a quota-driven sales position.


  • An excellent current working knowledge of agricultural equipment that perhaps was gained in a retail-selling environment with an equipment distributor or through rental sales.


  • You have the ability to meet or exceed goals without ever sacrificing integrity.


  • You are a natural at developing and maintaining honest customer relationships. To be successful at this role, your interest must not lie strictly with making the sale but in real, honest relationship building with your customers.  If we ask them about you, they’ll call you a friend.


  • Excellent prospecting and new business development skills, plus a proven ability to succeed in a competitive environment.


  • You are entrepreneurial by nature and one of your key strengths is your ability to manage your territory as though it is your own business.


  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills.

 


This job will require you to:



  • Attend 6 to 12 farm auction sales, within the region as well as 5 auction sales in Medford where you'll meet with your customers and your colleagues a few times a year.

  • Travel overnight approximately 3 to 4 days per week to cover the territory and 9 to 10 days prior to each sale.

  • Work primarily from a home office and on the road.
