A leading glass manufacturer is looking for an Engineer to support the glass melting operation at their plant near Fort Wayne, IN.  Because of the complexity of the glass furnace operation, a minimum of 3 years of glass melting experience is required.  An engineering degree is also required, with a strong preference for Glass, Ceramic or Materials Engineering.  The Glass Engineer will support Production by coordinating improvement projects in product quality, safety, environmental emissions, process costs, energy efficiency, ergonomics and maintenance.  A stable work history and glass furnace engineering experience is required.  This position does not qualify for Visa sponsorship.  This company offers excellent benefits, including relocation assistance.  To be considered for this position, please email a Word document of your resume to carey@southernrecruiters.com
