The Aerospace Business Development Manager will work closely with sales and will be responsible for the execution of strategy and sales support for Henkel's Structural Adhesives business. It's preferred to have this position based in Madison Heights, MI, but the Business Development Manager could work remote if not local to Madison Heights.

What we offer

Implement global strategy & Go-To-Market plan globally (adapt if needed) and support sales force to sell targeted technology or application.Identify and drive development of target segments/customers in Aerospace Structurals Industry.Support market and competitive intelligence.Build relationships (internal/external) with Key Decision Makers/Influencers, research customer needs, coordinate Henkel Resources meeting customer requirements. Manage, document, and present Value-Added solutions that meet customer requirements to Key Decision Makers/Influencers. Work with Sales & Technical Customer Service to target and visit customers on customer roadmaps for targeted technology/application.Secure industry specifications or approvals for targeted technology/application.Secure specific customer specifications and approvals for targeted technology/applications and conduct group selling and promotional activity with Sales for targeted technology/application. Conduct line trials, support Design of Experiments (DOE), with Technical Customer Service to support customer approval process with/for Sales/


Who we are looking for

Bachelor Degree in technical or
business field required, MBA preferred.5+ years’ experience in a business
development or related technical position in engineering or chemistry
is required.2+ years of experience in
aerospace, or structural adhesives strongly preferred.Entrepreneurial mindset.Excellent
presentation/communication, leadership, project managing and team building
skills.Superior negotiation skills.Ability to travel 50%.
