We are looking for an enthusiastic, experienced supply chain management professional to join our team.

Successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the appropriate supply chain actions are identified and implemented to allow the organization to meet customer delivery expectations and ongoing cost reduction objectives. This highly motivated and energetic individual will develop supply chain management strategies, and act as a catalyst in implementing these strategies throughout our organization.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Negotiate supply agreements for long-lead parts
  • Identify supplier cost reduction targets, and associated supply strategies to achieve these targets through negotiations, cost reduction roadmaps
  • Work with CMs to ensure cost targets met, lead-times met and E&O exposure minimized
  • Work closely with development team in design phase to identify lower cost components
  • Implement necessary procedures, agreements to achieve product lead time requirements
  • Verify all environmental requirements (eg. RoHS) being met
  • Ability to work in a team environment and provide leadership. Expect to work closely with other cross-functional teams to achieve organization's goals
  • International and domestic travel required.

 

 

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications

  • 5-10 years experience in global commodity/materials management
  • Demonstrated experience in driving cost reductions and strong negotiation skills
  • Strong Analytical Skills.
  • Self-motivated, goal oriented, task driven team player.
  • Specific product & technology knowledge for range of commodities, especially telecommunications related field a plus.
  • Comfortable presenting to senior management
  • Understanding ERP systems, with emphasis on Production, Planning and Purchasing operations inside a supply chain organization.
  • Must have technical knowledge of all business related activities associated with supplier management.
  • Professional with excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Must be able to travel internationally
