Job Description: A global progressive company seeking a strong results oriented individual to help transfer the organization and lead change through innovative ideas. Job duties are as follows:

• Lead the global commodity teams within the Mechanical Products sect and establish / implement short and long term strategies for cost reduction and value improvement.
• Negotiate all major contracts and agreements and deliver best value.
• Seek opportunities to leverage spend and volume and reduce future price increase risk.
• Identify Strategic, Preferred and Development suppliers.
• Work with suppliers to increase Value, Quality, and delivery performance and technology solutions.
• Responsible for timely reporting to agreed upon KPM’s and presenting Strategic Sourcing plans.
• Proactively and routinely drives spend analysis activities identifying Strategic Sourcing opportunities within assigned commodities.
• Develop and maintain Vendor Scorecards.
• Strategically calculate which country is best for each sourced commodity.

Job Requirements:

• BS in Supply Chain, Engineering, or Business.
• MS / MBA preferred.
• CPM or CPIM a plus.
• Must have experience in Low Cost Country Sourcing, Supplier Qualification, and Contract Negotiations.
• 8 + years in Sourcing in a high volume industry.
• Must have experience with large ($100M +) and complex spend is required.
• Experience working in a Matrix organization. Ability to lead and influence across multiple divisions and regions.
