About the Job

We are a Fortune 500 Company in the Pharmaceutical industry seeking a Global Environmental Leader to unify and drive consistent Environmental Programs worldwide.

We have experienced rapid growth over the last five years by entering and capturing new markets throughout the U.S. and abroad. As we continue to grow, we are committed to become the benchmark for other organizations.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement and monitor Environmental strategies, policies and programs that promote sustainable development

  • Examine Corporate activities to establish where improvements can be made and ensure compliance with Environmental legislation across the Organization

  • Carry out Environmental audits and assessments, identify and resolve Environmental problems and reduce Environmental risks and financial costs

  • Ensure that staff are trained at all levels and that the workforce recognizes their own contributions to improved Environmental performance

  • Promote and raise awareness at all levels of the Organization of the impact of emerging Environmental issues, whether legislative or Best Practices, on Corporate, ethical and social responsibility

Requirements:

  • B.S. in Environmental Sciences or related field

  • 7-10 years in progressive responsibility in the Environmental field

  • Global experience a must!

  • Quantifiable results (from previous experiences) of benefits gained through driving initiatives that impacted Organizational objectives

  • Outstanding written, oral, interpersonal and presentation skills
