Position Summary: The Global Financial Planning and Analysis Manager is responsible for ensuring the coordination and timely completion of the various Unilever-mandated planning requirements for the TIGI hair care business, as well as any necessary updates required by the TIGI management team. This position is also expected to ensure that timely and relevant management reporting is available to key decision makers, integrating key financial and non-financial performance indicators into decision support analysis. This position also provides significant amounts of ad-hoc analytical support to senior management, often under tight time constraints. Position is based in TIGI Headquarters at Lewisville, TX. Responsibilities: Coordinates the monthly financial forecasting process for the TIGI worldwide businesses. Establishing best practices to develop business plans and frame business risk and trade-offs. Establishing plan (AC/OP) financial framework. Analyzing business portfolio (by brand and country), and evaluating plan risk. Lead the monthly financial forecasting process for the US TIGI business. Calculate the monthly financial forecast bias, accuracy and ranges. Identify the key drivers behind variances from plan and assess implications. Preparing presentations and ad hoc analyses for the TIGI Leadership Team. Coordinate the Business Risk Assessment Process for The TIGI global businesses Identify and evaluate value creation opportunities. This role will be responsible for providing the decision for building business cases pertaining restructuring, marketing mix investments and capital expenditure. Supports the global category teams in the planning and reporting of regional and global category A&P activity. Challenges: Effectively leading the planning process across a matrix organization with operations in multiple countries. Coordinating multiple requests with conflicting deadlines and priorities Ensuring that Senior Management understands the risks in achieving operating plans. Ensure reporting contains actionable insights into the business results and plans. Identifying and influencing to gain commitment for corrective actions. Scope of Work: Partners with the VP of TIGI Finance, TIGI Controller and TIGI leadership team. Must deal with multiple systems and multiple country operations/processes Work across departments that are large and geographically dispersed Manages the planning for the TIGI US operating budgets This position reports to the Global TIGI Controller Timely/accurate delivery of the monthly financial forecast for both the P&L and OCF forecast Handles financial interface with external vendors as needed. Requirements (Education, Experience & Skills): Minimum of Bachelor’s degree. MBA, CPA or equivalent strongly preferred. Accounting/ financial background required 7-10 years of business experience preferred Experience in 2-3 core finance areas (i.e. BT, SC, C&CD, Controller’s, Planning and Reporting) strongly preferred Technical proficiency Skills: Decision Support; Exploiting IT; Performance Reporting, Accounting Operations and Change Management.
