The Global Product Manager is responsible for the product planning and execution throughout the product lifecycle, including: gathering and prioritizing product and customer requirements, defining the product vision, and working closely with the CTO office, engineering, sales, marketing and support to ensure revenue and customer satisfaction goals are met. The Product Manager's job also includes ensuring that the product and marketing efforts support the company's overall strategy and goals.
· Deliver MRDs and CRDs with prioritized features and corresponding justification.
· Responsible for revenue, COGS and gross margin of the assigned responsible product lines.
· Responsible for forecasting, product availability and inventory of product lines.
· Manage the product during the entire life cycle, starting from SOP to EOP and propose an overall budget to ensure success.
· Develop the core positioning and messaging for the product.
· Explore new markets and establish new channels for the responsible product lines and licensing opportunities.
· Feedback market trends and market demands to the HQ Sales, CTO-Office, Business Intelligence, HQ Purchasing, HQ Marketing as well as to the Management Board.
· Investigate market prices and competition pricing levels to channels and resellers and set pricing to meet revenue and profitability goods.
· Feedback regional standards and requirements to the regional Product Managers.
· Support key customers, channels, reseller and solution partners with product and market information.
· Set pricing to meet revenue and profitability goals.
· Provide suggestions and activities to Marcom for exhibitions and advertising.
· Handle a combination of strategic and hands-on tasks, and embrace & drive change, build trust and confidence with key employees and Management Board.
· Provide forecast to the global Supply Chain Management (SCM) for min stock level, new release information, phase-in and phase-out information.
· Provide products training and products sales support to Sales and Channels.
· Issue periodical status reports of open project status and streamline all open issues between sales and Product Manager.
· Collect application stories for publishing.
Requirements:
· Solid technical and commercial knowledge of the Embedded market.
· 5-7 years of experience in development or engineering of products for the embedded market.
· 2-3 years of experience with marketing or sales in the embedded market and/or equivalent experience.
· Degree in electrical or mechanical engineering (depending on the product) with experience in marketing (MBA is an asset).
·
· Strong leadership skills to lead the PM Team.
· A motivator with a strong sense of responsibility, cultural sensitivity and resourceful in problem solving.
· Ability to build up strong and powerful relationship within the company and the entities.
· Fluent in English language in speaking and writing is mandatory.
· Capability to work independently worldwide.
· Be familiar with SAP system.
