b.i.methods inc, an 8a/SDB is looking for a Government Business Development Manager

 

 

Minimum Experience: 3 Years of selling services to the Federal Government and Large Integrators.

 

Position Description:  

 

b.i.methods is seeking an energetic and dynamic individual to serve as Business Development lead for government opportunities. She/he will be responsible for the identification, pursuit and capture of both individual task order and large, high priority pursuits through contract award.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

 

·         Develop and maintain relationships with key customer/partners

·         Develop and communicate the strategies and execution plan associated with identifying new pursuits and closing on contract opportunities.

·         Lead in the development of an opportunity specific capture plan.

 

Minimum Qualifications:

·         To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

 

·         A candidate must have a minimum of three (3) years combined of industry and operations experience along with business development and capture or proposal activity expertise.

 

·         Specific knowledge of organization and installation directories as well as familiarity of the government procurement process is key. She/he must also have excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with government and b.i.methods senior level management.

 

Skills, Knowledge and Abilities

 

·         Background in business development, government

·         Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain relationships with key customer/partners

·         Demonstrated win rate in IT activities over the last 3 years

·         Knowledge of ID/IQ and GWAC task order marketing

·         Knowledge of key government initiatives

·         Demonstrated ability to work through the new business structured capture management process (i.e. Shipley) to include ability to work with business services resources and write task order responses for smaller opportunities

·         Excellent interpersonal, negotiation and communication skills

·         Should be creative, innovative, a strategist, driven and competitive
