MVS Inc. is seeking a highly motivated Business Development Manager / Account Executive to develop new business opportunities within the Federal and State of Maryland marketplace. MVS Inc specializes in IT products, services and staff augmentation.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Preparing and submitting proposals for IT products, IT project services, and IT management consulting services
- Identifying new leads and making sales presentation to prospective clients
- Developing and maintaining client relationships
- Providing consultation to customers regarding the purchase of products and services
- Providing pre and post sales support to clients
- Administering staff augmentation contracts
- Working with fulfillment and operational groups to ensure customer transactions are processed accurately and efficiently
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in a business or technology field from an accredited 4-year program
- General business, marketing or sales experience in the IT sector
- Self-motivated with strong desire to succeed
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong problem solving, organizational and interpersonal skills
- Experience with Federal Programs
- GSA, GWAC, SBA 8(a) and HUBZone programs
- Experience with State of Maryland Programs
- MBE/DBE and CATSI/CATSII programs
