GRANT WRITER – DEVELOPMENT ASSOCIATE Conduct prospect research and assemble materials related to existing and prospective public funders Draft and assemble grant proposals for submission Track submission deadlines, proposal status, and follow-up with prospective funders Manage data tracking and draft reports to funders as needed Ensure the timely acknowledgment of contributions Work with staff to identify and develop new and increase existing funding opportunities Ensure regular communication with prospects and existing donors Coordinate visits and presentations with current and prospective donors Draft other donor materials and correspondence as needed Provide additional support in various other areas, e.g. special events, as assigned

GRANT WRITER – DEVELOPMENT ASSOCIATE Los Angeles, CA
AltaMed seeks multiple seasoned development associates for our corporate office. Development Associate shall:
REQUIREMENTS: Detail oriented person with excellent oral and written communication skills; Bachelor’s degree required; minimum 1 - 2 years related work experience with proven track record of success; proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and ability to use Raiser’s Edge. Past experience in health care environment preferred. Bilingual English, Spanish, and/or Chinese strongly preferred.
