Grant Writer
Goodwill Southern California is seeking a Grant Writer to join our Workforce Career Development team.
This position will have the responsibility of researching, writing, collating, and submitting appropriate grant applications for federal, state, county and city funding sources to provide money for program operations and services.
The ideal candidate will posses knowledge of grant application process and writing of applications. Knowledge of various grant prgrams available to non-profits from federal, state, county and city government. Knowledge of documents to track the disposition of funding with project managers and other collaborative agencies. Excellent organizational skills. Superior witten and oral communications skills. Excellent interpersonal skills. Ability to work under pressure and time restaints to meet deadlines for grant opprortunities. Ability to develope, write, and implement strategic plans and ability to provide necessary documentation to support grant requirements. Ability to plan, prioritize and coordinate multiple projects. Proficiency in using PC Computers and software including Windows, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft Word, and other applicable software.
