Position Title: Graphics Designer (JB)
FLSA Status: Full-time, Salary, Exempt
Clearance: TS/SCI
Location: Bolling AFB, DC
Manager: Program Manager


Summary: Strong conceptual graphic designer/illustrator needed to conceptualize and create cutting-edge graphics and presentations. Candidate must be proficient in Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office products and have very strong conceptual design and illustration skills as well as attention to typography and information design required.


NOTE: A portfolio and/or samples will be required prior to a formal interview.


Duties & Responsibilities:
1. Working knowledge of web and multimedia technologies and familiarity with publishing and structured authoring software such as SGML, HTML, or XML is helpful but not necessary.
2. Candidate must demonstrate strong presentation, interpersonal, oral, and written communications skills.
3. Other duties may be assigned, as necessary.

Minimum Requirements:
• Education/Experience: HS diploma with 6 years of experience, AA with 4 years or Bachelor's with 2 years of experience
• Computers: Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Creative Suite, proficient on a Mac platform.
• Certificates: None
• Clearance: TS/SCI
• US Passport: Not required


Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
• Must be a self-starter yet comfortable working in a collaborative team environment.
• Ability to work individually and in a collaborative team environment w/demonstrated customer support skills.
• Strong typographic and design sense with attention to detail.
• Strong ability to conceptualize illustrations and information design, following through to finished product.

Desired or Preferred Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
• Working knowledge of World Wide Web and multimedia technologies.
• Familiarity with electronic publishing and structured authoring software (SGML, HTML, or XML).
