The Graphic Designer responsibilities include but are not limited to: executing concepts; page layout for catalog. Designer will produce mock-ups for presentation.
Responsibilities:
§ Awareness/understanding of the Jill brand and translate to graphic design
§ Page layout design, including type treatment
§ Work closely with Creative Director and Assoc. Creative Dir. to ensure brand integrity
§ Accuracy of direction/content from start to release/blueline
Skills:
§ Scanning, Print Production, and Typographic skills
§ Strong written and verbal communication skills
§ Designer will show initiative and will be able to work in a team environment
§ Detail and deadline oriented critical
§ Must be flexible and adapt/react to change
§ Must be organized and able to prioritize
Macintosh OS X working knowledge of the following programs
§ InDesign
§ Adobe Photoshop
§ Adobe Illustrator
Requirements:
§ Bachelor’s degree focusing on Graphic Design/Visual Communications
§ 5 years graphic design experience
§ Print production knowledge
§ Portfolio required
