Graphic Production Artist- Product Packaging

Established consumer goods company in Orange County, CA seeks a seasoned Graphic Production Artist with experience creating packaging for consumer goods.

We will only consider candidates with graphic-intensive commercial packaging experience.

Summary of Job Responsibilities:

• Design various types of product packaging from beginning to end as part of the daily routine (create dielines, photography, edit photos in Photoshop, create copy, etc.)
  
• Organization and Project Management skills for meeting critical timelines in a fast paced environment
  
• Conduct and perform photo shoots of products for product packaging
  
• Work with overseas printers to ensure correct packaging and printing

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years of related product packaging experience
  
• Software (MAC): Adobe Creative Suite (including Photoshop & Illustrator), In Design and Quark
  
• Experience with photography of products for packaging
  
• Able to meet tight deadlines in a very fast paced and hectic environment
  
• Able to multi-task and use good organizational skills
  
• Committed to excellence with writing and consistent proofreading skills
  
• Able to work with a creative, close-knit and hands-on Product Development team
  
• Excellent organization and project management skills
