The ideal candidate will have an extended, successful project management track record for museum and corporate exhibits while fostering key client relationships. Ideal candidate must have working knowledge of graphic design and fabrication processes, and the methods and materials common to the museum industry, including immersive environments, interactive, audio-visual systems and lighting.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE& SKILLS

·         Management of the graphics for large-scale museum, visitor center and corporate exhibits, including project planning and budget responsibility.

·         Tracking graphic production internally and with sub-contractors.

·         Assembling RFQ’s for potential vendors.

·         Knowledge of both detailed and square footage Estimating.

·         Generating work orders and coordinating with other departments.

·         Must be able to create Excel spreadsheets and use for tracking projects.

·         Capable of multi-tasking, prioritizing & work in fast paced environment with tight deadlines.

·         Ability to read fabrication drawings and prepare related technical specifications.

·         Ability to articulate results orally and in writing in an organized, concise and cogent manner.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

·         BS in business, BA or BFA in design or graphics or equivalent desired but not required.

·         Five years graphic management or production experience. Project manager’s experience in the management of large-scale museum, visitor center and/or corporate exhibits.
