What will my job be?
As a Marketing intern, you will be involved with a number of exciting initiatives including:
- The development of marketing materials and vehicles to increase brand awareness
- Networking and micro-blogging on social networking sites like twitter, myspace etc
- Tradeshow/conference event planning and coordination
- Website updates and management of content calendar
- Marketing material coordination (creation, copywriting, approvals) for email newsletters, digital print materials, direct mail leave behinds etc.
- Interfacing with sales, design team, operations and legal for all marketing purposes.
- Working with the marketing manager to help brainstorm and coordinate promotions
- Gathering research and providing marketing reporting through online tools and resources.
What will I learn?
- How to execute a marketing plan for an internet entertainment company
- How to work with new media marketing mediums including digital print, websites, emails, websites, social platforms etc
- How to coordinate marketing projects and interface with cross functional teams.
- How to increase brand awareness in a creative and strategic way
What documentation is required to be an intern?
- A letter from your University or College stating confirming that the GreenLight Marketing Internship program qualifies for credit.
- Proof that you are authorized to work in the United States.
