General Summary

Group Leader is responsible for implementing preventative maintenance practices and improving annual operation plans.  Also, implementing an efficient reporting system to update manager on task progress.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Reporting on status of assigned tasks at beginning, during and conclusion
  • Implement an efficient reporting system
  • Determine the activity plan to achieve the target downtime ratio and execute
  • Establish and implement a preventive maintenance system
  • Create a system to prevent safety, environmental problems
  • In charge of maintenance index (budget, downtime, manpower, preventive maintenance, spare parts, computerized system)
  • Manage and monitor the purchasing, distribution and inventory control of maintenance material (include tools, subsidiary materials, Oil)
  • Control the maintenance budget of the year (monthly planning and analysis)
  • Develop alternative parts for defects and unify specifications of parts
  • Prepare, execute, evaluate & improve the annual operation plan
  • Ability to handle various emergencies (breakdown, accidents, fire and so on)
  • Oversee activities to encourage good teamwork (interview, meeting, events)
  • Manage the production and downtime condition of the department
  • Establish periodic reporting and preventative measure relating to downtime issues
  • Ability to have flexible work schedule (weekends, holidays, etc)
  • Evaluate and mentor team members for continuous improvement
  • Encourage and deliver the company policy
  • Manage internal and external contractors 

 

QUALIFICATIONS and JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Two (2) to (5) years experience in manufacturing environment and one (1) to two (2) years in related area of available position, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to understand drawing and specifications of electric, mechanical systems
  • Knowledge and experience of PLC programming (AB, Siemens)
