Group Marketing Manager

The Marrick
Group, has been assigned by our client, Hamilton Beach Brands, Inc., to search
for a Group Marketing Manager.  This
position is located at the divisional headquarters near Richmond, VA.

Hamilton Beach Brands, Inc. is a leading
marketer of small household and commercial appliances.

We are immediately searching for an experienced, energetic

Group Marketing Manager who will be primarily responsible for the
growth and profitability of one of our largest product categories and the management
of its team. 

The focus of this position is managing new
product development, from ideation through launch. 

Duties also include
creating and implementing category strategies, leading a cross-functional
product development team, managing P&L’s, handling day to day aspects of
the business, and interacting with sales, management and retail customers.

The successful
candidate must have the following qualifications or experience to be
considered:

A
Bachelor’s degree in business or a related field,

    MBA degree preferred.

·      
At least
7 to 9 years relevant experience in managing consumer driven product
development.

·      
At least
5 years experience in leading cross-functional teams.

·      
A proven
track record of success managing consumer product businesses sold through the
major retailers.

·      
Experience
in the consumer packaged goods or durables industries is a must.

·      
The
successful candidate will have proven ability to analyze financial information
and other relevant business metrics.

·      
Ability
to present and to persuade management and customers, supervisory experience,
and proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint. 

·

she must be a creative, result driven self-starter with a strong work ethic,
excellent technical, interpersonal and communication skills, with demonstrated
ability to work independently and use good judgment.
