Job Description

Position:
Solution subject-matter expert that builds the Sales Executive team in a market to present and qualify the best solutions that solve a client's Critical Business Issues.
· Recruit and build a sales team of skilled qualified Independent reps.
· Manage, train and develop Sales teams
· Onsite or web product demonstrations
· Demo support and attendance for tradeshows
· Sales and Sales Ops with application and workflow questions
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Cold calling, prospecting, executing leads created by our client’s marketing department.
· Management of the pipeline of opportunities from current and prospective customers to ensure that goals are met.
· Contribute to profitability by closing sales of their technology solution.
· Build a relationship with clients to better understand their needs and create a clean transfer of sale to customer support and implementation.
Additional Skills:
- Ability to demonstrate Allscripts EHR MyWay as a solution relative to the needs of the prospect
- Exceptional interpersonal skills, confidence and maturity.
- Strong understanding of the clinical environment and workflow.
- Strong understanding of the EHR marketplace and the drivers associated with it
- Ability to connect well with physicians and command their respect
- Ability to work well with directors as partners in helping them define strategies and coach salespeople
- Ability to quickly gain team’s credibility, demo, and add value
Education Required:
Bachelor’s degree in business, sales or marketing or equivalent experience; advanced degree desirable
Experience Required:
5+ years of experience in Healthcare IT product sales, Pharmaceutical sales or operations
Skills Required:Knowledge of healthcare IT market and products. Excellent time management, communications, decision making, presentation and negotiation skills. Professional appearance and presentation
Compensation: $50,000 - $150,000
This is an independent representative agreement. Commissions are paid for all direct sales and sales for all recruited and managed sub-reps. This is an opportunity that only comes along once in a lifetime. The government is paying for the doctors to get the system and they know they need to move in this direction. The savings to the government through Medicare and Medicaid in the future is too great and the doctors will start to receive penalties after 2015 if they do not have an approved EHR system.
