The Coding Manager is responsible for the management of the coding and data abstracting functions for the Medical Center and:

·         Ensures timely and accurate coding and abstracting of inpatient and outpatient medical records. 

·         Works closely with Patient Accounts and Finance departments in auditing, researching and resolving coding/billing issues. 

·         Performs quality audits on all types of records as well as providing training/education for coding staff. 

Requirements include experience with inpatient and outpatient coding!

·         Registered Health Information Administrator (RHIA), Registered Health Information Technician (RHIT) or CCS with 2-5 years of supervisory experience. 

·         Must possess good communication and problem solving skills. 

·         Must be comfortable interacting with employees, medical staff and customers. 

·         Must be proficient in Windows.

Schedule: This is a full-time, daytime position. Monday-Friday.
