As the HP SMB District Sales Manager - you will be responsible for selling to and growing the Enteprise Business', Imaging & Printing Group's and Personal System Group's revenue in HP's strategically selected SMB accounts within the Northern Plains sales district.
Integrated with the corporate account teams and liaising with marketing, manufacturing and service specialists, you'll ensure that we deliver the most coherent, best in class solutions our customers could wish for.

Work with sales teams to help develop, advance and close sales vs our competitors within our top tier SMB accounts.

Work with HP Channel Partners in leveraging their respective touch within the geographical region of your responsibility.

Virtually manage an extended sales team of members which may not report directly to you.

Bachelor's (undergraduate) degree, preferably a business related degree or Master's (graduate) degree in Business Administration (MBA)
- Strong sales management (leadership) expertise in the technology industry. Ideally, has held a similar role and has track record of consistent quota attainment.
- Strong understanding of the technology marketplace (systems, storage, services). Must have a good understanding of HP's strengths and how HP's comprehensive solutions can help customers.
- Proven track record of leading sales teams to drive growth and market share. The ideal candidate has experience identifying employer's strengths, weaknesses and working with sales organization to increase market share.
- Extensive experience calling on SMB marketplace within respective geographical region.
- Experience leading virtual sales teams.
- Proven ability to multi-task. The ideal candidate has experience managing to multiple performance goals. Must be effective at day-to-day management as well as driving long term strategy.
- Experience working in highly competitive sales situations. Proven success in understanding competitors and "winning". Must enjoy "winning".
- Strong communication skills. The ideal candidate is effective at verbal as well as written communications. Must be able to clearly articulate "sales mission" to the team. Must be effective at developing and delivering presentations.
