The ideal candidate must have a minimum of 5 - 7 yeards of diverse technology experience, combined with business acumen and project management strengths in enterprise experience building SANs with HP StorageWorks Replication Solutions, administering and supporting Windows NT, expert knowledge of MS projects, account management, pre and post sales engineering, professional services management, Enterprise Operating System knowledge, Enterprise backup solutions, superior troubleshooting skills and possess excellent written, oral, analytical and customer service skills.
Job Purpose:
Candidate must be able to network storage requirements by designing and implementing SAN solutions; and mentoring team members.
Duties:
* Enhances SAN integration team accomplishments and competence by planning delivery of solutions; answering technical and procedural questions for less experienced team members; teaching improved processes; mentoring team members.
* Identifies SAN integration requirements by analyzing centralized vs. decentralized solutions, file/storage management, backup/restore appplications, peripheral connectivity, hardware and software, and database solutions, data forwarding, switching, layer communication, problem diagnosis, data gathering and distribution, data administration, and security issues.
* Designs SAN operations by researching alternative solutions to identified requirements; preparing proposals; analyzing cost-effectiveness; presenting concepts and infrastructures to clients.
* Plans SAN integration by developing integration process; setting priorities; preparing instructions and documentation; producing bills of material; staging equipment; developing prototypes.
* Integrates SAN by designing and configuring builds; identifying, addressing, and resolving issues; providing status reports; documenting actions; satisfying the company's inquiries.
* Prepares reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing project information.
* Maintains project team accomplishments by communicating essential information; coordinating actions; obtaining expert input; reviewing open issues and action items; contributing information to team meetings and reports.
* Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
