HR Generalist

POSITION: Sr. HR Generalist (Contractor)



RESPONSIBILITIES:

Foster and maintain an effective work environment by providing proactive support in all areas of employee relations for a midsize facility (50 100 employees).

Support and partner with site management to ensure local site HR objectives are aligned with corporate strategies.

Organize and support all HR related activities at the site level.

Support and partner with all NA HRM s of multiple fast paced business units to drive results, cohesiveness and consistency of HR systems, policies and procedures.

Serve as key utility player for the NA HRMs and corporate HR teams to support HR enhancement projects while meeting all critical deadlines.

Adhere to the quality and safety systems or maintenance of quality and safety standards.



REQUIREMENTS:

Must have high level of experience and competence in managing change and increasing leadership capabilities.

Posses both strategic and tactical skills in driving improvement and consistency of HR processes.

Must be people oriented and competent in relating to and working with all levels of the management.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with ability to explain HR policies and procedures and work with a variety of team members at all levels.

Must have an in-depth knowledge of State and Federal laws and regulations.

Ability to work independently and perform detailed work while exercising analytical, independent judgment and discretion.

Ability to achieve results under tight deadlines.

Must be able to travel within the U.S.



EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

BA/BS in Human Resources; business concentration preferred

Minimum 5 years hands-on experience in HR

SHRM Certification a plus
