Human Resources Generalist
Carrier Enterprise LLC, with pro-forma sales of $1.4 billion, 1400 employees and 110 facilities in 2009, is a stand-alone joint venture formed July 2009 between Carrier (a United Technologies Company) and Watsco, managed separately from other Watsco companies to distribute Carrier, Bryant, Payne and Totaline residential and light commercial heating, ventilating and air-conditioning (HVAC) products in the U.S. sunbelt region and selected territories in the Caribbean and Latin America.
This position will be located in our headquarters office in Orlando, Florida reporting to the Director of HR for Carrier Enterprise. This position will serve as an HR Generalist in as part of our headquarters HR team.
Job Responsibilities:
· Support the HR Director in the design and deployment of all HR Policies and Practices and deployment to the local HR and management teams
· Provide HR support to employees regarding policies/procedures, benefits and employee relations issues.
· Manage and update Incentive Compensation programs
· Design and deploy staffing processes and procedures for the organization
· Conduct all general reporting requirements for the organization including but not limited to EEO-1 reporting, staffing/headcount levels, organizational charts, attrition, etc.
· Partner with temporary staffing agencies to ensure agreements are in place and regional temporary staffing needs are met
Position Requirements:
· At least 5 years experience in Human Resources
· BA in Human Resources Required
· Must demonstrate knowledge of HR concepts in theory and practice (i.e. employment law, compensation & benefits, training & development, organizational effectiveness, etc.)
· Must have experience in designing and deploying compensation programs
· Previous experience with staffing and recruitment is required
· Must have strong PC skills in Microsoft applications (i.e. Word, Excel, Access, Power Point) and experience with Applicant tracking and payroll systems preferred.
· Detail oriented and ability to meet and work within specified objectives and timelines
· Professional presence and service attitude
· Excellent communication and organizational skills
· Able to maintain manager and employee confidence by keeping human resources information confidential
