Description:
Responsible for all human resource activities for the company. Provide advice, assistance and follow-up on company policies, procedures, and documentation. Coordinate the resolution of specific policy-related and procedural problems and inquiries.
Responsibilities include and are not limited to:
- Responsible for all human resource activities to include employment, compensation, benefits, and training and development.
- Review application/resume, evaluate applicatn skills and make recommendations regarding applicant's qualifications.
- Develop and maintain relationship with employment agencies, universities and other recruitment sources.
- Conduct new employee orientations.
- Administer and explain benefits to employees, serve as liaison between employees and insurance carriers.
- Provide advice, assistance and follow-up on company policies, procedures, and documentation.
- Coordinate the resolution of specific policy-related and procedural problems and inquiries.
- Recommend, develop and maintain human resource data bases, computer software systems, and electronic and manual filing systems.
- Develop and recommend operating policy and procedural improvements.
Qualifications:
- University degree or college diploma in related field or 3 years direct work experience in a human resouce related capacity.
- Must exhibit high level of initiative and work well in a team-oriented, collaborative environment is essential.
- Knowledge of multiple human resouce disciplines.
- Knowledge of federal and state employment and benefit laws.
- Technical competence (understand software, hardware, networks, etc)
- Must have strong communications skills and organizational skills
- Plans and carries out responsibilities with minimal direction.
- Candidate must have legal authority to permanently work in the U.S.
