Description:


 


Responsible for all human resource activities for the company.  Provide advice, assistance and follow-up on company policies, procedures, and documentation.  Coordinate the resolution of specific policy-related and procedural problems and inquiries.


 


Responsibilities include and are not limited to:


 



  • Responsible for all human resource activities to include employment, compensation, benefits, and training and development.
  • Review application/resume, evaluate applicatn skills and make recommendations regarding applicant's qualifications.
  • Develop and maintain relationship with employment agencies, universities and other recruitment sources.
  • Conduct new employee orientations.
  • Administer and explain benefits to employees, serve as liaison between employees and insurance carriers.
  • Provide advice, assistance and follow-up on company policies, procedures, and documentation.
  • Coordinate the resolution of specific policy-related and procedural problems and inquiries.
  • Recommend, develop and maintain human resource data bases, computer software systems, and electronic and manual filing systems.
  • Develop and recommend operating policy and procedural improvements.

 


Qualifications:


 



  • University degree or college diploma in related field or 3 years direct work experience in a human resouce related capacity.
  • Must exhibit high level of initiative and work well in a team-oriented, collaborative environment is essential.
  • Knowledge of multiple human resouce disciplines.
  • Knowledge of federal and state employment and benefit laws.
  • Technical competence (understand software, hardware, networks, etc)
  • Must have strong communications skills and organizational skills
  • Plans and carries out responsibilities with minimal direction.
  • Candidate must have legal authority to permanently work in the U.S.
