Summary:
- Counsels management and develops problem solving strategies to address employee relations issues and insures support is consistent with established policies, procedures and applicable laws
- Researches and develops initial responses to performance management / employee relations issues
- Coordinates new employee orientations and other employee-related programs
- Explains to employees company and governmental rules, regulations, procedures and need for compliance
- Assists in investigation and resolution of employee grievances and coordinates responding to complaints
- Conduct exit interviews; track and prepare turnover analysis
- Interprets, explains and monitors compliance with Human Resources' policies, procedures and practices at all facilities
- Advises line managers on policy, procedure and practice interpretation and compliance
- Performs other related duties as assigned in an efficient, effective and cost conscious manner, complying with all company policies and practices
- Minimum 3 - 5 years progressively responsible experience in Human Resources with a strong emphasis on employee relations
- Experience in recruiting, employee relations and compensation
- Strong communication skills, both oral and written
- Ability to develop strong working relationships with employees at all levels of the organization
- Ability to mediate disputes as well as provide ongoing coaching and counsel to all employees
- Knowledge of employment, labor laws and regulations
- Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or related field or equivalent experience preferred
