Regional HR Manager

 

 

Job Summary:  Responsible for providing general HR  support and recruiting for the Seattle, WA and Pacific NW region.

 

Job Description:

 

  • Oversee the day to day operational activities for the Regional Office.
  • Receive calls from our calls from internal managers, customers, clients and candidates. Provides administrative support for the office.
  • Maintaining and updating information into HRIS system (Valiant)
  • Responsible managing the new hire orientation process.
  • Responsible for managing candidate selection process.
  • Responsible for developing recruiting sources, creating recruiting strategies, attending job fairs, college/internet recruiting methods, etc.
  • Ensures that employee/candidates meet the contractual requirements prior to employment per client.
  • Development, recruiting strategy for assigned region, analyze labor trends, market analysis, etc.
  • Works towards minimizing non-billable OT (below 3%) for all assigned accounts.
  • Respond to general employee relations issues (coaching, counseling, terminations).
  • Complete unemployment claims paperwork, verification of employment requests, new hire reporting, and attend EDD hearings as needed.
  • Administer company sponsored benefit plan to employees.
  • Provide HR support to other state (if needed) with designated region

 

Education/Knowledge/Experience/ Skills

 

  • High School Degree or GED
  • Must have 2-4 years recruiting & HR experience.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel, & Outlook
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Ability to interface with all levels of management.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment showing initiative as an independent and team contributor.
  • Ability to utilize technology to streamline work processes.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with ability to effectively communicate information.
  • Ability to work effectively under tight deadlines, work independently and to maintain strong working relationships through collaborative team effort.
