Job Description
On Time is a
fast growing premier medical transportation provider, providing specialized and
supervised assistance during transportation in medical vans, wheelchair vans
and ambulances. We are expanding
operations throughout the state and therefore seek to increase the
infrastructure of our human resource department.
Overview
This
position will oversee HR processes and provide guidance to managers and field
supervisors. Additionally, this position
assists in the evaluation, planning, development and execution of projects in
partnership with the company’s business development and operations departments.
Ideal candidates must possess extensive knowledge of state and federal
employment laws as well as in-depth knowledge of regulations and practices
related to human resources. The ability
to work on initiatives independently as well as collaboratively in a team
environment is also required. The position also requires about 10-20% travel
time to our other NJ offices.
Primary Job Functions
• Provide strategic and operational support on HR programs and policies and
lead successful implementation of HR programs
• Provide
clear and effective counsel to management on all HR issues, including
performance feedback, progressive discipline, and employment law
• Oversee successful resolution to employee concerns/issues and providing
counsel to management on employee relations issues and reduce potential
business liabilities.
• Oversee and perform general HR functions including recruiting, payroll and
benefit administration
Requirements
• 5+ years Human Resources management experience
• Strong interpersonal relationship skills at all levels of an organization
• Ability
to contribute to create and implement HR strategies, programs, and processes
• Working knowledge of employment law and general HR business programs
• High energy level, comfortable performing multi-faceted projects in
conjunction with normal activities
• Ability to identify, analyze, develop solutions and make decisions on complex
or unique issues
• Excellent planning, organizing, and project management skills
• Ability to adapt to changes in the external environment and organization
• Must possess advanced computer skills (Microsoft Office – Word, Excel, PowerPoint,
etc.)
