We are currently seeking an HR Technical Recruiter to support our Philadelphia Area and New York City offices. An exciting position with great growth potential, you’ll be responsible for the full life cycle recruiting functions for all technical position, supporting the organization's staffing requirements.
Position Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement programs, plans, policies, procedures and documents for recruitment, background checks, selection and job placement for permanent and temporary employees
- Create job ads, maintains job descriptions, and internal posting system
- Utilize Web sites, job boards, social networking sites and other Web-based media to recruit potential candidates
- Source, identify, evaluate, screen, interview and select qualified candidates for nomination to hiring manager
- Schedule and coordinate interviews with hiring teams and managers
- Build strong relationships with hiring teams to effectively manage the recruiting process
- Develop and maintain contacts with employment agencies, placement firms and other sources of applicants
- Verify references, participate in compensation discussions and extend employment offer to potential candidates
- Assist with the creation of offer letters, agreements and other new hire documents
- Assist with the corporate set-up and on-boarding of new hires
- Maintain data and create reports on recruitment activities, applicant flow, interviews, hires, transfers, promotions, retention and turnover
- Develop and maintain inventory of qualified candidates, while developing a resource pool of candidates for future positions and independent contractor assignments
- Maintain candidate records and metrics (candidate communication, submittals, and interviews) in the applicant tracking system.
- Participates in HR Department and company-wide initiatives as required
Essential Skills and Experience:
- Bachelors degree or related recruiting experience
- Two or more years experience in full life cycle technical recruitment and selection, Interactive Agency experience preferred
- Must have experience with online job portals
- Experience with creating job ads, internal postings and recruitment materials
- A proven track record of accomplishments demonstrating ability to source candidates, establish relationships, negotiation skills, and customer service skills
- Knowledge of applicable federal and state employment laws
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Presentation skills preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook. Knowledge of payroll software preferred
- Ability to adapt to a changing environment and multi-task assignments
- Ability to maintain high level of organization and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently, prioritize work and handle multiple tasks
- Ability to remain flexible and responsive when faced with multiple urgent requests
- Ability to approach and communicate with a wide range of personalities
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment
- Must be Customer Service Oriented and Team-Oriented
