HUMAN RESOURCE GENERALIST
The Human Resource Generalist is responsible for support in the areas of employee relations, benefits, recruiting and compliance.
SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develops and maintains the affirmative action plan (AAP)
- Files EEO-1 report annually; maintains other records and logs to conform to EEO regulations
- Monitor and record Employee Performance Evaluations program providing guidance to management and employees on effective use of the process
- Investigates unemployment, EEO and other claims, attends unemployment hearings, conducts fact finding
- Ensuring up-to-date accuracy of employee information within HRIS system (Ultimate Software)
- Developing and distributing reports as well as providing support in all projects as assigned
- Provides support to HR Managers and Director of Human Resources in all projects
- Monitor and update I-9 Employment Eligibility Verification log
- Perform other related duties as required an assigned
Knowledge Skills and Ability
- 3-5 years of HR experience; 1-2 years HR Generalist experience
- Excellent computer skills MS Office and HRIS application
- Excellent communication and organization skills
- Strong project management skills and analytical abilities
- Practice of high level of confidentiality
- Familiar with internet recruiting
- General knowledge of employment laws and practices including Title VII, HIPPA, COBRA, ERISA, etc.
