Multiemployer ERISA Benefit Fund/Taft Hartley Benefit Fund located in Queens, New York.

 

Summary:

 

NYC Multiemployer ERISA Benefit Fund is looking for an experienced individual to become part of the Human Resources team. The Human Resource Office Manager will be responsible to manage a staff of twenty (20) reporting to the Fund Administrator and Supervisors. This position is a hands-on position with the primary responsibility to administer the day-to-day operations of the Funds in accordance with the policies and procedures established by the Funds’ Trustees and Fund Administrator.

 

The Role:

 

·  Keep Administrator and Supervisors well-informed of Administrative work flow

·  Independently handling complex employee relations issues from inception through resolution

·  Counseling and coaching staff on performance issues

·  Providing exceptional customer service with regard to day-to-day issues regarding Fund policies and procedures

·  Expectations include developing strong professional relationships with the Fund, its Supervisors and Employees

·  Being creative and ambitious while fitting into our energetic environment

·  Manage a Clerical Staff of 20. Delegate as necessary

·  Recommend and implement process improvements

·  Overall accountability for Clerical work

·  Answer questions from walk-ins or direct to the appropriate Clerk 

·  Efficient filing of all Service Provider Agreements

·  Sensitivity when dealing with confidential information

 

Skills/Qualifications:

 

BA or BS degree or equivalent experience required 

At least 3-5 years of Human Resource Office Manager experience required

Experience with Taft Hartley Trust Funds preferred

HR certification or graduate degree a plus

 

Salary and Benefits:

 

Compensation will be commensurate with experience and includes a generous benefits package.
